My Life

In my years of traveling to foreign countries, I’ve seen some crazy versions of what most people call baggage claim. I’ve seen broken belts, those spinning metal rods, I’ve even been to an airport where they just spread out the bags on the pavement outside the plane, but Manta Airport in Ecuador has to have the craziest baggage claim I have ever seen…seriously.

They had two big doors that resembled garage doors, and then a guy pulls up in a truck, they open the doors and everybody rushes the doors to try to get their bag off the truck. It reminded me of a helicopter dropping of relief supplies during a humanitarian mission. Don’t know what I’m talking about? Check out the pic:

Anyways…it was crazy, and I had to write about it.
